Omans capital market is currently abuzz with the
IPO of Oman Telecommunications Company (Omantel), which
sent a message to international investors that Oman
is committed to privatization.
The Omantel IPO can really add to the markets
activities and to the market itself, both in its liquidation
and by its contribution, says Abdullah bin Salem

Mohammed Juma (INTERVIEW),
CEO of Vision Investment Services Company, says that
the IPO has increased the nations investment awareness
and encouraged direct distribution of wealth to the
country.
